hallo all
my story My friend is singer had dutch passport in 2004 had album recorded in holland and the mastering in usa his friend who did the mastering in usa chetaed him up he went to Egypt cos the singer is singing in arabic and got contract with egpytiaon company my friend(X) WENT and copy righted the album and his name also as mark name in denhaag By BBM somthing like that im not sure from the name he called the company in egypt they said the mastering man came 2 us and just gave us normal paper witnessing that he is responsible for everything the question is 1- should the singer go 2 dutch lawyer 2- it is since 2004 is the issue finished mean there is expire date for these cases 3- is it possible to hook up with dutch embassy and get lawyer from the embassy since he got ducth passport 4-how much he shall ask(in euro or egyptiaon)? 5- the company distibuted the album with his name X and got copy from the original cd some one baught it for him from egypt is that enough evidence 6- written on album singer x( singing an lyrics by X.. mastring and arrangment by (b)his friend in usa I HOPE I CAN GET HELP I NEED trusted advice think it is complicated one 7- what r chances of winning this case? thanks |

If both your friend X and his friend (that cheated him) live in Holland, then a Dutch lawyer could probably help him if he wants to sue that friend.
If your friend X wants to sue the Egyptian company, he should probably do that in Egypt with an Egyptian lawyer. The "verjaringstermijn" should be at least 5 years, so has not expired yet. I don't know if the Dutch embassy in Egypt could be of help in getting a lawyer, but why not try. The amount to ask depends on the damage and/or how much people earned on it. It also depends on the law that applies (I have no clue about Egyptian law). |

thanks again for ur help his friend in USA my friend x WANT TO SUE THE company in egpyt also he needs to know what is the producre here in holland to make the legal documents cos he found a alwayer in egypt but cant go there what he should go to i need in details steps if you know not mind |
