Signature+stamp at the invoice - should it be there or not?

Here're some moments of my question:

1. Our company recieved an invoice without stamp and signature from the N-company.

2. Our contract with that N-cmpany is leading by Law of the Nitherland.

3. Our company wants the invoice with signature+stamp in any case.

The question is - who's right in this situation our company or N-company?

And I would be very thanked in case of sending at me a link to Netherlands Civil Code in English version.

Before thanked,
Victorie

Viktorie, it is quite unusual to have the invoice stamped and signed. However, normally the invoice is put on the company's letterhead, which inclused their Chamber of Commerce registration number and the VAT number.

A stamp does not say much, as anyone can go to a shop and have a stamp made. But if it is important to you (I have experienced this with the foreign companies we work with), why do they refuse to put a stamp and a signature on the invoice?

Usually, in The Netherlands, stamp + signature are used when an invoice is paid in cash.

That is after payment, but not when you are sending an invoice to a customer.
